Cristina Vaquero is a professional with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales. Her current goal is to use the power of her business knowledge to build a more eco-conscious, inclusive and just society. She firmly believes that the value creation argument of sustainability is the key to exponential impact, as well as the reason why companies will survive in the long run.
She is currently Senior Manager of Sustainability and Positive Impact at L’Oréal Spain, where she has held various strategic roles, including Head of Retail & Business Development and Marketing Director of Maybelline New York.
Prior to her career at L’Oréal, she worked at Beiersdorf in product management and marketing. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE, a BBA in International Business from FH Reutlingen and an Executive Master in Sustainability and ESG from Escuela de Organización Industrial.
Currently, she also collaborates as lecturer in the IE Master-in-sustainability-and-business-transformation, and in the EOI in the ESG Sustainability and Circular Economy Master and in the ESG and Sustainability Master programmes.
His experience combines skills in negotiation, consumer products, market research and trade marketing, always with a focus on innovation and sustainable development.
