Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a key technology across multiple sectors—from healthcare and education to industry and environmental management—and is indeed essential for decarbonization and the deployment of sustainable solutions. However, this surge poses sustainability challenges regarding water and energy consumption, as well as social and ethical impacts. Therefore, it is also necessary to seek solutions that help mitigate negative effects by promoting efficient, responsible, and accessible models for all. It is estimated that in Spain, more than half of the adult population has used an AI tool at least once.
