Ana Maria Sánchez Infante is a Financial Economist with more than twenty years of experience in the European private and public sectors. She is currently working for the European Commission in the Directorate General for Energy (DG ENER) as Team Leader in the unit Relations with the Member States and the Energy Community.

Previously, she worked as a financial advisor in the UK and Spain, covering sectors such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, industrials and oil and gas. She holds a degree in European Business Administration and a Masters in International Law and Economics.
