Maria Antonia Ruiz Arteta is a distinguished professional in sustainability and marketing. She graduated with a degree in Information Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed specialized programs in Marketing Management at ESADE and Sustainable Development & ESG at the University of Navarra (IESE).
Since 2014, she has held the position of Director of Sustainability at Puig S.A., leading the corporate ESG strategy and the Decarbonization Plan to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Previously, she was the Global Demand Planner Director in Operations and Director of Marketing for Fragrances and Cosmetics at the same company, improving product planning and development. Maria Antonia also has experience as a Marketing and Communication professor at various universities and business schools.
Before her career at Puig, she worked as Marketing Director at Myrurgia S.A. and Novartis Consumer Health S.A.; at Unilever Spain, as Group Product Manager for brands like Hellmann’s, Hornimans, Maizena, and Potax; and at Ausonia Higiene S.L. as Product Manager and Group Product Manager.
