Ms. Gloria Calderón Peña

Territorial Implementation Project Coordinator ECDBC and SolNatura in Fondo Acción

Professional in Government and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, project formulation, management, and implementation, as well as in the design of public policies focused on sustainable development.

She has a strong academic background, holding master’s degrees in Development Management and Practice from Universidad de los Andes, and in Knowledge and Information Management in Organizations from the Open University of Catalonia.

Throughout her career, she has worked with key public and academic institutions, including Universidad Externado de Colombia, the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation of Colombia (APC-Colombia), the Colombian Institute for Family Welfare (ICBF), and the Ministry of Social Protection.

For the past six years, she has led strategic projects at Fondo Acción, focusing on climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as biodiversity management. She has been responsible for high-impact initiatives such as the territorial implementation of the Colombian Low Carbon Development Strategy and SolNatura, promoting nature-based solutions as a key pillar for environmental and corporate sustainability.
