Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid and civil servant of the Defense Scientists Scale since 2004.
She has worked at CIEMAT (Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research) as a laboratory analyst and at AENOR (Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification) as head of product standards and publications.
From 1997 to 2007 she was an analyst at LAVEMA (Chemical Weapons Verification Laboratory) and at the NBQ Laboratory Nuclear Unit, both belonging to the La Marañosa Technological Institute in Madrid.
Since September 2007, she has been a senior analyst at the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies (IEEE) belonging to the Ministry of Defense where she conducts studies on geopolitics related to climate change, water resources, strategic minerals, and weapons of mass destruction.
She has participated in various publications related to the roundtable theme, highlighting Strategy Notebook No. 209 titled “Minerals: A Strategic Issue in the 21st Century” and the analysis documents: “Strategic Minerals: To Be or Not to Be for Decarbonization and the Digital Transformation of the EU” and “Restrictions on the Trade of Critical Minerals: Towards Global Geoeconomic Fragmentation” both edited by the IEEE.
