He holds a PhD in Physics in the field of Statistical Physics, a Master’s in Nanotechnology and Materials Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona, and a degree in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is a specialist in the development of predictive analytical models and simulation algorithms, with more than 10 years of experience.
He currently develops and coordinates R&D projects in the fields of data analytics, optimization, and Artificial Intelligence applied to industry, the energy sector, and the agrifood sector.
Previously, he worked in several national and international research groups, including the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB‑CSIC), the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Technical University of Denmark, the Electronic Engineering group at the Birck Nanotechnology Center (USA), and the Thermal Energy Engineering group at The University of Tokyo (Japan). He is also the author of a book on thermal transport in semiconductors and several publications in high-impact journals.
