Gemma Sanchez-Danes is Acting Head of Secretariat in EFRAG’s sustainability pillar. In her role, Gemma manages and oversees the various standards that EFRAG is developing for the European Commission under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), as well as their digitisation. Since the publication of the draft ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) in 2022, Gemma has been presenting its content at outreach events and educational sessions with various stakeholders. Currently, her work focuses on the preparation of ESRS implementation guides.
