David Llamas has 24 years of experience as an environmental consultant in engineering consulting firms. He is currently Director of the ESG and Sustainability Department of WSP Iberia (Spain and Portugal) where he develops a wide range of advisory services, both at Corporate and Project level, related to the sustainability of infrastructures, industries, power plants, buildings, etc. He has previously headed the Environmental Department of WSP Spain, being responsible for the coordination and technical supervision of the environmental studies and analysis of the projects developed by the Company.

David Llamas has extensive experience in planning, design, environmental and social assessment and environmental management of works for all types of transport infrastructures, industries, energy production plants, environmental facilities, urban planning, etc.

In recent years, he has been directly involved in tasks related to ESG and sustainability, carrying out ESG Due Diligences, energy efficiency audits, greenhouse gas emission calculation and reduction studies, ESG ratings assessment (GRESB, ENVISION, ECOVADIS, etc), Climate Change and resilience studies, energy efficiency and wellbeing assessment for buildings (LEED; BREEAM, VERDE; WELL, FITWEL etc).
