Juliana Mutis is CEO and Founder of minkadev, a company specialising in business development focused on environmental conservation, with operations in Spain, Colombia and Mexico, as well as projects in different countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and North Africa. Specialised in strategy and structuring of business development models of social/environmental impact, to direct products-services that have a positive impact on the protection of the environment.
She has been involved for 23 years in the evaluation, structuring and implementation of sustainable business development models in Morocco, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, India and Uganda, in various sectors such as water, energy, housing, agriculture, food, recycling for private companies, business associations, social sector organisations, governments and international organisations.
From minkadev he has led the development of markets linked to the conservation of key natural areas for carbon sequestration and biodiversity conservation, green transition, as well as the structuring of Mixed Financing Mechanisms for the development of green businesses for the restoration of ecosystems.
She has done research on sustainable business development at IESE Business School. She is a lawyer with a focus on economic and financial law, PhD Cum Laude in business management and administration, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia with the co-direction of IESE. She has a master’s degree in international trade and contracting from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and courses in Kaos Pilot, Denmark to lead processes of transformation and innovation.
